Two minute chocolate mug cake

I'm almost ashamed of this, but it works! And when you have a cake craving late at night and need an instant chocolate fix, it's an amazing invention - an instant, gooey brownie for one! If you don't believe me, try it...

Ingredients

3 tbsp butter

1 egg, lightly beaten

3 tbsp milk

4 tbsp plain flour

3 tbsp caster sugar

3 tbsp cocoa powder

½ tsp baking powder

Pinch of salt

Method

1. Spoon the butter into a mug and microwave for 10 seconds to melt.
2. Add in the egg and milk and lightly beat with a fork until combined.
3. Add dry ingredients into mug and beat with your fork until well combined.
4. Place mug in the microwave and cook for 1 minute. If too gooey in the middle, microwave further in 10 second bursts until cooked to your liking.
